Devika Krishnan, an Industrial Designer who has been in the field of design development for the corporate and the crafts sectors since 1992. She has also formulated and taught courses in Design at premier Design Institutions in India and developed the Visual Arts curriculum from kindergarten to grade 12 for International Schools in Bangalore. She is one of the recipients of the “10000 women entrepreneurs worldwide” scholarships awarded by Goldman Sach’s for business management training from the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad. She is a graduate in Industrial Design from the National Institute of design, Ahmedabad, India.

Devika manages all the external projects for the company. She also teaches Visual Arts to adults and children from grades 9 to 12 who have chosen Art and Design as a subject in their qualifying exams in IB or IGCSE.

Mrunalini Giri is the co founder of the Arthouse Trust. She was previously a successful garment designer with her own brand of garments and fashion accessories. She is qualified in Special Education and worked for the Spastics Society of India briefly. She has a degree in german langauge and teacher training. She has worked with preschool children and developed the curriculum for a preschool in Bangalore. She is a keen teacher and coordinates the teaching modules at Arthouse. She also teaches visual arts and photography to the younger age groups.

Sushmita Gulrajani is a young graduate in textile design from the National institute of Fashion Technology, Bangalore. After a short stint at Madura Garments, she joined Sattva as she was looking for a mix of exciting projects not necessarily involving textile design.  Besides lending her hand in the projects, she also teaches textile dyeing and printing techniques at Arthouse.

Margaret McGuire is a wonderfully wise soul who handles all the administrative tasks at the studio. She was a teacher previously and helps with the children’s classes.
Besides the above mentioned inhouse team,  Arthouse also hires consultants for their applied arts courses on a regular basis.

Sharada Gopalan teaches pottery to adults and children at the studio. She is a successful studio potter qualified from the Golden Bridge Pottery School in Pondicherry.
